The lodge itself was recently reopened after being closed for over a year for complete renovation. They did a great job on the remodel, everything seems first class and well thought out. It may not be the original Castle in the Sky that’s sitting atop Rich Mountain but the lodge at Queen Wilhelmina State Park is still a delight above the clouds. Mena is certainly one of the best towns to visit in Arkansas and the lodge is the perfect place to retire after a day of exploring the area.
